Messaging Terms

These Messaging Terms govern how Lamora Labs sends and receives text messages, emails, and other electronic communications with clients, prospects, and callers.

1. AI Receptionist Messaging

When a call is placed to or received by an AI receptionist phone number:

  • The caller may hear an AI-generated voice
  • Calls may be recorded for quality, training, and demonstration
  • SMS follow-up messages may be sent to the caller's phone number if they provide it
  • The AI receptionist may send booking confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages

2. Consent to Receive Messages

By providing your phone number to Lamora Labs or our AI receptionist:

  • You consent to receive SMS messages related to your inquiry, booking, or service
  • Message types include: appointment confirmations, reminders, follow-up questions, and service notifications
  • Standard message rates may apply
  • You may opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to any SMS message
  • After opting out, you may still receive non-marketing service messages (e.g., appointment reminders) where required

3. Email Communications

By providing your email address:

  • You consent to receive service-related emails (confirmations, deliverables, invoices, support)
  • You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link
  • Service-related emails (invoices, deliverables, account notices) are not optional

4. Message Frequency

  • SMS: no more than necessary for the specific interaction (typically 1–5 messages per inquiry)
  • Email: no more than necessary for service delivery and account management
  • Marketing emails: no more than 2 per month (if you have not unsubscribed)

5. Message Content

Messages sent by Lamora Labs or our AI receptionist may include:

  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Follow-up questions about your inquiry
  • Service delivery notifications (clips ready, scheduling confirmations)
  • Billing and payment receipts
  • Responses to your questions or requests

We do not send unsolicited marketing SMS messages.

6. Third-Party Messaging Platforms

Lamora Labs uses third-party platforms to send and receive messages. These platforms may process message content according to their own privacy policies:

  • Telephony provider (for AI receptionist calls and SMS)
  • Email service provider (for email communications)
  • Social platforms (for scheduled social posts)

7. Data in Messages

  • SMS and email content is stored for service quality and dispute resolution
  • Call recordings are stored for 90 days
  • Personal information shared in messages is handled according to our Privacy Policy

8. Your Rights

You may:

  • Opt out of SMS by replying "STOP"
  • Unsubscribe from marketing email via the unsubscribe link
  • Request access to your message history
  • Request deletion of your message data (subject to legal retention requirements)

9. Compliance

Lamora Labs complies with:

  • Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA)
  • CAN-SPAM Act
  • Platform-specific messaging policies (A2P 10DLC, CTIA)
  • State and federal telecommunications regulations
